A Small Post :O

This last week was super busy & super productive ... so I could really use a free day :')

 

No plans, no check list! At the mo, I'm reading East ( it's finally picked up pace!! ) Maybe I'll write, maybe I'll watch a show, maybe I'll just make some tea, lol.

 

Haven't started MP100's second season, yet, but I kind of want to rewatch season one as a refresher. Still can't believe Kingdom Hearts III is actually releasing!! This next week!! It's been so long, it doesn't even feel real.

 

What's up? Got any fun planned, or things you're looking forward to?

I am STARTING A NEWSLETTER. I decided on it today, partially on a whim-- but I've also been wanting to try to do a fandom newsletter for a while, so. I'll be rounding up links on fandom meta discussions. :D Kinda like what I do on my journal already, but without the additional commentary.

yay for free days!! those are the days you can really relax and recharge and get your batteries charged up for the next day, i find. (๑´ㅂ`๑)

i'm playing d&d with my friends tomorrow!! and i start classes on tuesday!! i'm actually even more pumped for the latter than i am the former, eheheh.

I ordered a few books off Amazon.jp - two for my mom (regarding traveling in Aomori Prefecture and such) and two for me (Otoyomegatari 11 and the NHK Idaten book).

(The Kinokuniya in our most-local Mitsuwa shut down a few months ago and so it's a relief I can buy some books off Amazon.jp, but it was more fun to be able to browse in Kinokuniya in the old days...)

Nice!! Haven't heard of those books :O but that New Book Excitement is always fun lol.

Hm, yeah, I prefer browsing the shelves. It's a whole experience, that way, being surrounded by books & people!

What I'm working on, knitty edition: The Nightmare Galleon scarf referenced in one of my earlier posts

What I'm working on, fanfic writing edition: Too many projects at once, which is why I'm trying to do an organizational reboot

What I'm reading, book edition: You may laugh if you wish, but I've been re-reading a lot of Mary Balogh historical romances to get a better grip on writing character interaction for RotG/GoC fanfics.

What I'm reading, fanfic edition: Between reads at the moment.

What I'm currently watching: Our semi-regular rewatch of BLAKE'S 7.

What I'm looking forward to: Less than a month until I see my bestie, who will be helping me and my coworker out at my vendor table at Boskone.
